My Heaven

we all have versions of what are heaven would be

My heaven would be a blue sky
with a golden sun,
running around barefoot in green
pastures,
laughing and having fun.

My heaven would be an endless world
full of love and grace,
my heaven would be no judgment
by our religions or our race.

My heaven is now, with the people
who are in my life,
my heaven is to watch the sunset and
the stars glow as it reaches the night.

Heaven to me is much part
of living,
how we help those in need,
how our hearts keep on giving.

My heaven is my husband,who I look
to each night,who is not just my best friend
but my soul mate for life.

As we grow old together through out
the rest of our life,
My heaven would be to have him there
with me again,
as husband and wife.
