Feeling excited like a kid with a new toy
Who gave you the right to steal my joy?
Now I’m left feeling like my heart has dropped
Wishing so bad that time would have stopped!

By no means at all, did you give me the choice to give up my spot!
So, therefore, I’m wondering why but never thinking why not.
Why her? How could this be?
God opened my eyes so that I could see.
That all love isn’t true love and you weren’t for me!!!

In life you never know what’s on someone’s mind
Until something happens it revealed in due time
All these feeling because I have lost sight
In a room full of darkness that’s always had light!!!

It’ll be over with is much easier said than done
But holding this anger means you would have won
As a result, it takes time for a broken heart to heal
Although in reality you were the one who got the short end of the deal!!

I’ll be the better person and wish you the best
For I know my God will handle the rest
So sit back and relax and continue to enjoy the ride
