Another short poem

There is not a single thing
In the whole world that doesn’t break my heart
But when I hear you sing
It shines some light on the dark
The gunmetal light tries to break
Before the wish, after the bars
And if I should fall from grace
You know I won’t fall too far
If I am out of touch, you’re out of reach
Like sand in your hand it falls apart
Drowning stars in the seamless sea
Thank your god & curse your heart
Shine some light on the dark
