I wrote this specifically for my best friend because of how he's changed me..

Before you came, I was always the one
affected by everything, hurt by everything.
I wished I could escape all the woes
cast upon me, but I could not.
All the problems I tackled, all the times
I broke down, all the tears I cried.
None of that seems to matter,
now that you're here.

I love how you make me feel complete,
there is nothing else I need.
You could not have come at a more perfect time.
When I needed someone to standy by me,
you came to my rescue.
If something worries me, I can always
count on your soothing words.

I am intrigued by my life
It has changed for the better, all thanks to you
I am no longer afraid to try,
no longer afraid to speak my mind.
I feel unstoppable, I feel I can do anything
I set my heart to.

Unlike before, all I feel now
is pure joy and hapiness
I owe it all to you, my friend and lifeline.
I love you, and I love who I've become.
