A poem I wrote for Valentine's Day. |
| To make a woman fall for you Love her next to your Maker Promise not the moon nor the dazzling stars But be committed to her forever. Let your words be sweeter than the roses you give And deal with her with tact, not temper Be humble enough to say sorry when you're wrong And next time, treat her better. Show her that chivalry is not dead The gallant, brave knight still roams the streets Maybe not in a shining armor and sword But in your usual blue jeans and sneakers on your feet. Be a man of surprises And always listen to what she has to say If you have to disagree, do it peacefully No one can always have it their way. Never toy with her feelings Live your life when you're apart And come together with the assurance That you'll always have her heart. |
