Dreaming around the river bend;
Recollections of midnight mysteries,
Evening sounds, crickets and tree frogs send.
Lunar glimpses are river's possibilities.

Dawn's smokey-blue ribbon paves the day;
Continuing on down the river road,
Tireless, fearless footprints along the way.
Jaunty steps onward, journeys told.
