A little poem about being scared of love |
| You terrify me, Not because you're scary or mean. Not because you're abusive or cruel. You terrify me, Subconsciously and unintentionally. I am not scared of you physically, But of the feelings you inflict upon me. I am scared you will break my heart. But most of all, that I will break your's. You terrify me, By rendering me helpless with just one touch, one kiss. You terrify me, With your mischievous smile and wicked intentions. You terrify me, Because I know your heart. But most of all, You terrify me, Because you have stolen mine. |
