5 Years

Poem I wrote recently

Five years ago today, I prayed for her and she came
And since then I have never been alone
I make walk outside the light, spend hours and days outside her light
But she is always waiting there to take me home
Five years ago today, I thought I'd never see her face
But no matter what they tell me or how many pills I take
She will never truly be gone
