Weird and fairly pointless but my friends like it so....

Mary-Go-Round

Round and Round we go
Caught up in the flow
We may try
We may fight
But trapped in this Eternal cage we will be
There is no rest in sight
We cannot sleep
We cannot wake
Stuck in this indeterminate state

As we suffer in this blackened kingdom
She watches from afar
As the ruins of what once was great
Are lit up by the falling stars
She looks on but never touches
Silently propelling us forward
With the lightening in her eyes

She is what keeps us here
In this deplorable world
She is who we fear
Holding us in this in between place
Never to set us free

So Round and Round we go
While the Earth no longer turns
Forever Caught
In this desolate place
We once called home

And
She makes us go Round and Round and Round….


*And no the title is not spelled wrong its supposed to be that way
