What you see everyday

MIRROR

He is always there, I see him everyday.
When I get ready for school, he is pouring concern on me like
a river onto land.

Finally I turned and faced him saying, "why do you haunt me constantly with doubt
and fear?"

He faced back saying,"Haven't you always ignored me and sought to never look
upon me with delight or joy?"

"You bring me too much pain along with your memories, in my dreams and thoughts
that never seem to fade."

"All of the pain you speak of was created by you and you alone, I have
only stood and watched from afar."

"So your saying its my fault for the way you are?",I responded.

"In a way it is, I am what was and what is, you will decide what i will be."
