The loop i was in

this poem is a poem my teacher made me write

I'm in a loop.
I can't get out.
I dont try to call for help.
Even if someone heard,
would i want out?

I'm alone in the darkness.
surrounded by light.
Working up the courage,
to leave

My hero comes and
cuts the rope
that held me prizoner.
I turn to the rescuer
and reconize familiarity.

Scared,but brave.
Lonely, but smart.
Me.

Without hesitation,
I step out of the loop.
