My Band of People

In a time of weakness, we all need our band of people to hold us.

I've never felt more lonely
as the world fills with friends.
I feel like one life is going to begin,
while the other one ends.
There has to be some stability;
I don't have the capability
to be who I wanna be
when the world's falling down all around me.
So somebody take me by the hand
and lead me to the land
where there is nothing but a band
of people who smack me when I say I can't.
