A writer’s voice



I write not because I can

But I write down thoughts

Unspoken words

My deepest fear

My hidden secrets

I express in my writing

What I can’t infuse in speaking

I write so others

Can understand me

So they can decipher themselves

I write so hope is given

I write that others may get

The courage to say it loud

What I write in silence

Others hide in pretence

What I write

That’s my inner part

My heart
