A love poem dedicated to my girlfriend - a prose poem.

The happy and cheerful greetings
Of my one true partner
Fill both my lucky, embracing heart
And her joyful, excited tones –
We hug one another tightly,
Closely cuddling with our upper bodies,
While the fruity scent of her expensive perfume
Delights my delicate and sensitive nose;
Then she places a soft and sumptuous kiss
On my eagerly gathered lips.
During these warm and chatty ‘hellos’,
We gaze into each other’s affectionate eyes,
And later hold hands to reaffirm
The subtle, yet overflowing spirit
Of our joyously heartfelt bond,
And the union of our tender bodies
In each other’s grasp…
