Sailors Dream

I made this for my friend when she neededa poem for her class to go with her sailor theme

Villainous scandal, all waves crashing down

I’m lost, my memories jumbled, adrift in a daze

Creating new life, forgetting the old

I don’t remember the past, only a constant new song

Sailors singing, a captivating rhythm enticingly strong

Souls unbinding, becoming unraveled yet merging into one

I sit and listen, unable to think or do anything else

Time fly’s by, the song never ending

Under a mist, swirling round in a dark vortex 

Dead is my old life, a new one beginning

Evermore shall I stay here, listening to the song, mesmerized by its melody.
