This is the first book of a trilogy called The Veil Trilogy.

Set in the lands called The Reach, it follows the story of Kayl Rhaine, a Daemon Hunter, for a group called the Conclave. It is a dark, brutal world where Daemons manifest and are trying to tear through the veil to re-establish their dominance over the world once more. 

This is the first book I have written and my synopsis leads me to believe that this could well turn into a trilogy. It is intended to be quite dark where the characters live in a world that is a tough, harsh place to live in and their decisions and outcomes, intended or not, reflect that.
