The Biggest Mistake

What is our biggest mistake?

What will I become
After the mistakes I have done
I have made many
Big and small
But none have not ended me
Instead they helped create a hole

They gave me knowledge and hardened emotion
None the less
These mistakes keep me loathing
Smiling in front of my face
They bring me to my knees
Keeping me from the life
I'm trying to achieve

A terrible feeling overcomes me
The feeling of failure
and things I may not achieve
As I focus on these mistakes
I miss the biggest mistake
By letting these mistakes get to me

It's not the problems that make a person
It's how that person fixes them
Depending on how it is done
They can make life fun
Overcoming their personal battles by eliminating them

The problem is we naturally start digging
It takes action to get out
This is what a person is judged on
By how they dig themselves out

This is what makes a successful person
Inside and out
Getting the thirst for success quenched
By having action being the way out

It's how people have won
And how dreams were achieved
By becoming their true self
Is the life where success leads
