Oh the laptop keys will be a tappin,

And the muse must keep a rappin,

Though words may start to sound like crow,

Oh the deadline starts approaching,

And the mentors they are coaching,

So we keep refilling those cups of Joe,

NaNoWriMo! NaNoWriMo! NaNoWriMo!



Keep on writing, just write all night,

Swig down your coffee then make some more!

Imagination let it take flight

Fifty thousand words you can score.



Now that deadline is upon you,

and your muse has flown to Malibu,

Too late to realize you've been to slow,
