Haunted Dreamland

Based on the multiple recurring dreams I used to have. Drowning, Falling, etc.

The time of night when everything dies
Is the time of night when dreams are alive
Invisible walls, unseen floor
Bare lightbulb, never a door
Reach for the chain, life is black
Falling, falling, falling.
We walked on water all of our lives
We walked on water to drown out the cries
Suddenly, so quickly we sink to the sand
Look to the rippled sun, we see our hands
Open wide our bloodshot eyes
Cold sweat, we've witnessed demise
Tears fall and flood the sheets
Six billion souls to never meet
Gliding through life we wait for the beams
Just to find out it's all in our dreams.
