A poem of my favorite animal, the horse. |
| The Horse He gallops, he flies Under clear blue skies He dances among the flowers He skips, he leaps He hardly sleeps He is the epitome of power Adrenaline in vein He feels no pain In the midst of the battle With head held high, See him fly! He protects the one in the saddle But he'd rather be Wild and free, To live with no one to bind him How he longs to roam So far from home Where no eye will ever find him But for the human, He does all that he can; He serves the one he adores Yes, in dreams he will roam But he'll stay here at home He will follow the will of his Lord. |
