A Poem called Acid

Through your skin and bones
Straight into your heart
I eat away like acid
Burning you apart

Deny me if you will
Forget what we went through
On I go right for the kill
To bring back what we knew

Fight it off, your heart lies dead
Like Cancer I will spread
What is true, if only you
Remember what once said
Keep away from these dreams
Haunting forever memories
Like fading art
I slowly start
Burning you apart
