Gone Forever

I wrote this poem when i was in 7th grade when I lost a dear friend of mine.

You hurt me in a way I will never forget
You may have done something you will regret.
Although our friendship did last long
It's time for me to move on.

Replacing me in a way that hurt me so
Even when I wasn't ready to go.
You saw that I didn't cripple up a die
Instead my real friends came, that's why.

In the future we may be friends some day,
But now I only have memories, something only to replay.
You didn't just leave me out in the rain
You also left me with a pain.

A pain undescribable that no one should feel,
But without these pains no one can stay real.
How much you have given me a scare
Whenever I look at you I think "gone forever and forever not there".
