Missing you

they say that times healer, if this is true then why do we still miss you.

I know there's a time when everyone must,
leave everyone behind that they trust.
I didn't want to watch you fade away,
But your heart stopped beating on that day.

I know that everything must carry on,
but i hate the fact that your gone.
I really needed you to stay,
But now i'm saying goodbye, in my own special way.

We placed your body down to rest,
and i'm still trying to do my best.
I know i'll see you again someday,
i need you, i'll miss you.. we'll find a way.
