You loved me before i was born
between a mother and son
an unbreakable bond that cant be torn
a sworn sacred love, trust, and respect
you promised yourself to always lead, guide, and direct
me as i go through life teaching me the rules and what is right
your sweet words got me thourgh many of nights
your prayers to god asking him to watch over me
keeping me safe telling me to be the best i can be
you turned a baby who couldnt stand
into the man i am
