His roots were from New Orleans, earth,

On Deep Space Nine he gladly directs
His son and all he cherishes dearly.
With Dax, Odo and Miles,
And the Ferengi rank and file,
His patience he values sincerely.

When the Prophets gave their call,
And surrounded him in the great hall,
He showed that he had special strength.
He lived his life for all he could,
He never thought less of fatherhood,
For the ones he loved, he would go to any length.

Yes Benjamin live a special life
And would leave his children and wife.
A sacrifice that made people sad.
The Bajorans would always believe
In the prophets they must heed,
And love their gentle, wise comrad.
