The Beginning

A hopeful poem

My mind is blown
I cant believe
That what I feel
Can truly be

With my eyes now open
Im no longer in fear
the end of me
doesnt seem so near

The clouds have dispersed
the storm is gone
God only knows
for how long

Just one day
Is all I asked for
A day without pain
I got so much more

I sit here in awe
a silly smile on my face
thankful to be
back in Gods good grace
