I've discovered a truth that hurts badly.

What's the worst part?
It was never personal.
It was all just automated,
Fed to me generically,
As a matter of course.
It's like this with most of us, I just know it
No care put into it, and no effort at all
Knowing I would fall for the same thing,
Over and over again just like the rest
What was all just a lie to you
