A poem analysing the similarities between women and giraffes |
Lifted from another world and placed on this plane A Giraffe so exquisite and remarkably sane A Glance in her lusterous eyes steals your soul Bedazzled you are no longer whole Her elegance has no bound But her sneeze tortures every fabric of sound. Blessed with a neck to browse natures fruits as she wills Surrounded by predators who keep a tally of their kills Oblivious to her surroundings and challanging to engage Blisfully roaming in her virtual cage A creature of the light which strives to fight on the path of the right Overshadowed by greater animals this choice can be tight No influence can change her mind Her silence destroys the harmony of the jungle It can be hard to remain humble Complicated an awkward giraffe no one will ever decipher you |
