Imaginary Breakup

I don't know why I feel so.

         It's beyond all but she what just transpired
         Perhaps her attraction to me has expired
         Yet a single query remains
         I fear that only MY heart wains
         She never partook in my fascination
         All she left me with was my degradation

         What little occured has left me so hallow
         She's left me with a special bitterness to swallow
         Oh trust this poet's word,
         Although it sounds absurd

         I'm so happy for your content
         When maybe there's just supposed to be contempt

         I pray that you feel the same way
         For although our emotions do sway
         We're both linked together
         By a false romance's endeavour.
