"My beef and 'tater stew"
after a hard day's work
there's nothin I'd rather do
Oh, to eat my stew and burp!


After a hard day's work
I go home and turn the TV on

Off to bed I flop


I go home and turn the TV on
relax for just a little while
Off to bed I flop
When I sleep I always smile


Relax for just a little while
It seems I had a long day

Cause in my dreams I say


It seems I had a long day
There's nothin I'd rather do
Cause in my dreams I say
"My beef and 'tater stew."
