Writing is a release, a form of self discovery, a way to feel without being hurt. My world is right sized today but this is not always the case. Expectations of a simpler life are challenged by the need to be a responsible adult. My responsibilities weigh upon me, pulling me down to a motionless state. Morning energy is fleeting.

Starting my day over, an inside job, is necessary. My mantra is to stay focused, knowing that I am not fighting my battles alone.
