A Prayer for my Son

I pray the Lord gives you wisdom on the path to take
During all the decisions, in your life you'll make
I pray the Lord gives you courage to follow your heart
Follow it always, right from the start

I pray the Lord gives you confidence to stand proud and tall
Do what you know is best and give it your all
I pray the Lord gives you strength for the challenge of life to come
That you wont have to back down until the battle is done

I pray you know you are loved, no matter what you choose
All through your life know our love you will never loose
Take charge of your life son and follow a righteous path
And have faith the Lord will bless all your days, even after the last
