A thought in the moment of change

Release me
Watch me float away
Spinning, weaving on this new wind
Let me catch my breath
Let me open my eyes to the sun that warms my skin
To stare in wonder at the beauty that forms
I want that fresh taste upon my lips
I want to float down this unknown current
Ride the bends as they come
Learn the language of the breeze that whispers in my ear
Release me
I no longer want to care
