The Longing for a love that can never be....

Lost is my soul,
Wondering from corner to corner
Searching for something that never existed!

Lost is my soul,
Weeping in silence
For that which never comes?

Lost is my soul,
Longing in agony
For fragments of its existence that got lost with time

Lost is my soul,
Trapped in chaos
Because loneliness has no sense of direction!

Lost is my soul,
Surrounded by darkness
For all the light of what was good is now gone!

Lost is my soul,
Engulfed in sadness
For love never finds me!

Lost is my soul,
For I longed for you to stay in my life!
But like all that fades with time you left.

Lost is my soul,
I walk my own path with no one to hold
Because like everyone else you judged me before knowing who I really was!

Lost is my soul,
Forever damned to wonder this earth
To not know
The warmth and tenderness of being needed by another,
That is my punishment!
For being me!
For loving with all my heart and giving without restriction,
The happiness that resides inside me!
