Repentance

a note from my diary.

So I decided this be it. My chance to make up for what I did.
I foresee a shaky future for me...
But God knows best what He wants His creatures to see.
I open my arms and take this leap.
All I know is the purity of my intention...
the act that follows is a repentance.
At stake is what dwells in my heart...
But my deed is to purify that same part.

There is a voice that speaks up in my head...
Am I really giving away my share?
Am I stepping away from Divinity's plan for me?
I know this voice... it's the one which tries to outsmart the soft one.
But this is my journey to seek the Higher me...
which is a closer destiny, when I take steps learnt through Divinity.

I surrender in my faith and let go of all that dread my steps...
with a belief in that Divine Power...
I open my arms for the blessings He'd shower.
