Was the path I took the right one?

Should I or shouldn't I?

I see his face and can't help, but wonder.
Was this the path I was chosen for?
Or is it the choices I stupidly made for myself that led me to this fate?
Whatever it was I would give anything to take it all back and just be by his side.
To defend him.
To stand with him
Instead of against.
To love him.
