Can we please welcome today our guest speaker?
I’m the guest speaker here to talk about my book
To share some book banter with you all
Today I sit in front of all these people,
All these people sitting with such anticipation and wonder
What shall I talk about, will they like it, and will I be able to do it
Of course I can do, I shall talk to the audience, my chance to tell the world
Will they like it I guess I will have to wait and see?
Where do I start, well the beginning is usually the best,
Will I forget my words, will I stumble
If I fall or forget my words I am sure I will think of something for the middle
Why did I write a book I was asked?
I replied well, it is something that I could do
I have a story to tell, with a beginning a middle and an end
Did they enjoy the book, or did I enjoy the banter
Did they enjoy it?
Well receiving the around of applause tells me they did
