Once Upon A Time

memories is all i have of what we used to be.....

She lays next to his sleeping body, turned the other way.
She puts her arms around him, and closes her eyes....

Remembering, him hugging her close, smiling.
That day they were at the park together
Laying on the green, green grass
The sky beautifully cloudy
The air, so fresh, blowing through his brown hair.
She kisses him, every emotion in her body turned into butterlfies
Fluttering inside her.
He smiles
his face as red as her heart, embarrased
but happy.
That big smile. The one i remember....
She thinks to herself, what happened to it?
They walk down the sidewalk
Hand in hand
She looks at him
He looks at her
His beautiful eyes, staring back at her in affection...

He moves for a second, scoots away from her.
Tears roll down her cheeks.

It was only a memory...
