Bitter Heart

Short poem - betrayed.

An overflowing heart
Gives strength to cowards and fools

What should have been kept
Was wasted - used as a tool

Passion can't control the soul
but will merely suffer

From the lust once thought as love
The beast is uncovered

Instinct for revenge
Bitterness is triggered

Lies will be retold
a sweet smile to repeat

Returning what you've done to me
back on you would be so sweet.
