Dreaming of a "better" place than where they are

I'm surrounded by strangers
I don't know how to feel
This pain is so intense
I'm questioning if it can even be real
Suddenly I'm falling into a well
An escape from this awful Hell
I'm sinking deeper and deeper
Until I cannot see a thing
This cold dark loneliness has saved me
It pulls me down
It makes me feel at ease
Until I come back to reality
And pray once more
To return to my dreams
