Just a Girl?

I wrote this because I am not a fan of sexist jerks

They said, “Just a girl;

I unleashed rage from deep down!

I am a queen bee;

They just stirred up my hive.

They brought the lightening -

Best get ready for the thunder.

I contain myself,

But for how long?

How long can I stand,

This dumb idea about “just girls?”

I will not be weak,

But I am not weak already,

I am just a girl,

But this girl is on fire!

This girl will beat them

She’s a firecracker,

They best stay away.

This girl might just blow them out of the park.

“Want to play again?”

If they do, they should watch out,

If they bring lightening,

Then I will bring the thunder.
