Frozen, dejected, worthless.
Self pity from bottle poured.
Dawn, and Paradise denied.
Seasons were lost. Longing roared.

Which lesson to learn, and why.
Happiness? Chin up, head high.

To spring again my heart turned.
At the beach beneath the sky.
Fireworks and smiles sweet.
