Without A Loved One

I Wrote This On July 20, 2010. This Is My First One I've Posted Please Be Truthful. Thanks

How hard can it be
To leave behind
one you love so much
can you go hundreds of miles
and leave him or her
back where you belong

while you're gone
can you forget them
leave them behind for a couple days
are you able to forget
the days you spent together
before you left
for a huge trip
to see family
can you forget
the laughs you two shared
the jokes you quickly told each other
are you laughing randomly
but you dont know why

are you realizing that
you remember things
that happened before you left
do you have that one thing
that is so special to you
which was a present from them
is there image fresh in your mind
making it harder to stay away from them
but you know you must carry on
only to see how far love can travel
to see how strong love is
and see if you can be
without a loved one
