Falling in Like

A poem about falling for someone. I wrote this after watching a love movie.

Fall in like,
Is what I told myself I would do,
Nothing more, No connection then that to you.

No love feelings, no ever lasting games,
just like.

I thought it would be as simple as riding a bike.
But then the storm came, and it was time to strike,

We never said good-bye
but instead all I gained was someone who wouldn't take a hike.

Now instead of like,
The feelings in which I try to protect,
Seeped through and I am now falling for you.
