Stars in the night sky

Stars are beautiful, don't you agree?

A star is a star don't you agree?
I don't because they mean more to me
They're a glitter in the nightsky
A twinkle in the corner of your eye

They fill your heart, with warmth and hope
That you can do anything but sigh and mope
The beautiful burning balls of light
In the sky shine so bright

They're more than just stars to me
they are friends, that sing and dance, you see
I never know if it's weird to find,
that stars in the nightsky seem so kind
But when a person says to me,
they're just stars you know,
But they don't see.

They miss the beauty of the night
Its more than just a light
When people walk and don't look up
That's the reason, this world has no hope

If they just took time to see
The magic in those shining beams
Then maybe the world would be a better place than
just to look up and see an empty space,
