Strength in Christ

A poem from my book 'Blocks of Faith'

I’m tired,
Both physically,
And mentally.
My body tells me to rest,
My mind orders me to stop.
At times I agree with them,
But I find strength,
When I call Christ,
I feel totally restored.
In Christ,
There’s strength,
And stamina.
It is impossible for me to go on,
Without my Lord and Savior always with me,
He is the strong tower that supports me.
In return,
I give,
The Glory,
To Him.
Amen.
