Life goes ever on

This a poem I wrote during a down day I was having to give me an upbeat outlook on life [:

Ever on life will go

No matter what seeds we sow

With ups and downs we see each day

Worry not, nor forget the way



The road of life we all must take

with paths to choose, and paths to make

Fog and gloom, we've seen it all

Keep going even though you trip and fall



We walk in the shadow, alone and afraid

Of all of the choices our lives have made

Searching for a safe place for our head to lay

Worry not, nor forget the way
