Summer Sun Foe

Summer is a time for relaxation.

Summer sun rests high in the sky,
As I lounge so far down below.
Not much to do, and here I lie,
My energy drained by this foe.
No school, no work, nowhere to go,
I perk up when I hear kids play.
They want me to come, I say, “No.”
I plan to just laze here all day.
