A poem I wrote about someone I'm deeply in love with.

We can make it together
make it all better
make it all right

fasten me up
with silver kisses
make me your wound up doll

Help me to feel
your flightless ways
so light a touch

let me feel your whispers
on my skin
because you are just so
caught up
in my embrace
yet not close enough

I think I'll wait a while
and keep you in my heart
and dance through time
because I am yours
and you are mine
