I'm Just Unique

I was sick of being thrown into a catagory

How am I different form you?

Is it my skin color or the way I dress?

Is it my voice or the color of my eyes?

Do you think if I were more passive of more agressive

we would be the same?

Or maybe if we listened to the same things

Or liked the same people

Well, I don't think I'm different at all

I'm very unique and so are you

But, you'd rather be the same as everyone else

It's okay, That's the path you chose

So when I turn on the news and see that

"everyone" has jumped off a bridge

I'll know that you are one of them

Because you wanted to be like everyone else

And I stayed unique :)
